Jeneva Plumb and Carolina Kehoe, two of the incredibly lovely and talented people that I have the great fortune to perform with, rehearsing for Guys & Dolls.
Yesterday was a fine day, and I have high hopes for today as well. We rehearsed Guys & Dolls for eight hours, I ate well, and slept like a baby. Today I'm working on the downstairs space that I inhabit, and tonight it's back to rehearsal... full days, but rewarding.
I don't have a lot of deep thoughts today, I just want to check in and let you know that I didn't need to binge on awful food yesterday... sometimes I can break a bad cycle with just one night of resistance, so I'm hopeful for the near future. The weather is fine, I feel good physically, and all of my business is enjoyable business.
I hope today finds you as well as I feel.

I think it's helpful to check in, especially on a status quo kind of day. You're establishing new life patterns, after all. And it's nice to know your audience is paying attention ;) Wish I could see the show!
ReplyDeleteWish I could see the Jess.
ReplyDeleteIt is a life changing role you are auditioning for and I have no doubts you'll get the part. I am finding, as each day passes, it does get easier but the old ways are lurking around the corner just to trip our asses...so we have to find other corners to go around. I got the part of Lillian in I Hate Hamlet and I am directing a two women show/musical...I love directing. Time for bed - it feels so good to actually have a schedule once again. Thank you, Steve, for your continued inspiration to achieve my goal = not only weight loss but a change of heart and mind. Keep on tossing those pizzas in the air...when is your show? Love, Mom D
